The Gift of Discomfort

The gift of discomfort
Comfort zones are most often expanded through discomfort.
— P McWilliams

We all have aches and things that happen in our lives from time to time. It's part of the cycle. I believe happiness is ours and belongs to us always, but sometimes pain comes in to show us things are not allowing ourselves to see.

It's easy to toss the feelings aside, but then we don't allow an opening for new, amazing experiences to come in. Imagine if your discomfort was asking you to let go of something, or there to show you what is no longer working for you. Imagine it was wanting to allow a space for more nourishing things to come in.

When we allow the answers to come through without attachment, they do.
